Registration

View & print the PDF registration form to register. DO NOT MAIL BEFORE SEPTEMBER 7. Make checks for $40 payable to Portland Society for Calligraphy. Materials fees will be paid to instructor the day of the class. Must be received by October 19 to assure lunch.

9–10 a.m: Registration & Hospitality, Vendors Open, Displays, 4x4 Exhibit , Show & Share

10–10:30 a.m.: Introductions, Oregon Art Annual Report

10:30 a.m.: Gwen Weaver Keynote, "Pointed Pen Personalities"

Noon–1 p.m.: Lunch

1:15–4:30 p.m.: Classes (view the PDF registration form to see them all)

Exhibits

4x4 exhibit
Call for entries: we invite all calligraphers to share their artwork!

• Finished piece may be matted or not, finished size must measure 4"x4"
• Must include lettering in some form
• Open to any calligrapher, attendance not required
• Name & address on back
• Please prepare an identification tag for display measuring
  2 1/2"x1 1/4": include your name, title, and materials used.
• Mail with a self-addressed stamped return envelope or arrange for a guild representative to pick up your artwork.
• You may enter up to 3 pieces

Show & share
All participants are invided to bring artwork to show & share. Each piece of artwork must be labeled. You will take your pieces with you when you leave.

Scholarships

We have a limited number of $30 scholarships available. Full-time college students, high school students and those with individual need may apply. To apply, send a letter stating why you would like to attend. Include your name, telephone number and e-mail address. Mail by October 10 to:
